There are several design and content aspects of the essays as they are currently displayed that should be improved.
  1. Design refinement: the bubble footnote is huge within the text.
  2. Parity with Quire: The footnote is inactive. It would be useful if the text of the footnote was accessible in a hover, or if it took you to the linked footnote at the bottom of the text.
  3. Parity with Quire: Would it be possible to incorporate a short-code to prevent line breaks ( )
  4. Design 2 or 3 standard widths, rather than having the layout dynamically respond to the width of the page. (Compare to the New York Times!)
  5. Have the figure number appear justified either to the right or the left of the caption (see attachment; I don't like how "fig. 7" is on the right and "fig. 8" is on the left)
